Standalone concept mockups that apply the cognitive plan to the studio-session surface. The design keeps the existing Evening Studio landscape frame, but layers in interleaved rotation, chunk targets, bumpy-spot micro-loops, varied practice challenges, rest interceptions, and self-diagnosis before save.
The session starts as a teacher-informed recipe rather than an open timer. Blocks mix technique, two pieces, and a return pass so the student changes context before frustration turns into mindless repetition.
The teacher's broad note becomes concrete on the stand: measure range, target tempo, and focus. The bumpy-spot bookmark is an icon tool, while the primary action remains the chunk-level recording.
Play the isolated spot three times at 70%, then return to the full phrase.
A bookmark instantly narrows practice to two to four measures, pins a pitch-preserved slowdown, and asks for three short attempts before returning to the full phrase. The UI makes the efficient behavior the path of least resistance.
Play m. 8-12 in a dotted long-short rhythm, then one normal pass.
Once a chunk is comfortable, the app proposes a small variation: rhythm switch, articulation change, hands-alone pass, or tempo ladder. It is a practice prompt, not a score mechanic.
You have stayed on the same chunk for 18 minutes. A short pause protects the work from turning into tired repetition.
After a long uninterrupted stay on one piece or chunk, the app offers a soft rest prompt. The copy frames rest as part of learning, and the telemetry does not punish taking the break.
The current effort check becomes a short diagnosis step: where the hard spot was, what rhythm felt like, and perceived effort. These are student observations, not teacher-facing quality grades.
