Swipe a deck of the day's pieces; listen to the teacher's reference; record a take through the unchanged consented pipeline. Three participation rings — Time · Breadth · Depth — move silently in a low drawer (no numbers, so no timer-watching); swipe the drawer up for the macro view and to slide-to-end. No quality grade, ever.

The silent drawer shows three rings with no numbers. Because this card is Repertoire, the sage Depth ring stays quiet until a Technique assignment receives meaningful view or record time.
The reference player is dusk-toned (listen/playback). While it plays, Record is disabled and the visible next step is to pause the reference first. This time accrues to the piece's reference-listen counter, pinned to this piece even if the deck moves; Depth remains quiet because this is Repertoire.
The header goes dark/charcoal with a live timer and an honest on-device line (not "privacy secured"). This frame shows the risky case: the user has swiped away from Sonata, but the active take remains pinned to Sonata and stays stoppable from the drawer. Other cards disable Listen/Record until Stop flows into the existing redact → parent review → consent sheet.
Swiping the handle up drops a translucent glass panel: the numbers appear (total time, pieces covered), the three rings enlarge with percentages, and the session ends via a deliberate slide-to-end (hard to trigger by accident). Pause freezes all clocks. Depth = technique minutes only; Breadth counts a piece only after real engagement.
Pause is a real state, not a one-way freeze. The macro panel keeps the current totals visible, marks that clocks are frozen, and swaps the neutral Pause button for a single primary Resume action. The deliberate slide-to-end remains available without silently counting paused time.
After slide-to-end, the reflection captures perceived effort (Warming up → Pushing) — an effort signal, not a quality score. If the local insert fails, the overlay stays up, keeps the committed payload in memory, and offers Retry save instead of dismissing. An auto-ended grace-timeout session skips this and records no effort.
